The IPv4 market in May 2024 continued to show gradual adjustments, particularly in the smaller subnets.
RIPE NCC: The /24-/22 range in RIPE continued its upward trend, increasing from 31 to 33 EUR per IPv4 address. The other ranges, including /21-/20, /19-/18, and /17, stayed unchanged.
APNIC: APNIC saw recovery in the /21-/20 range, where prices rose back to 26 EUR after the previous month’s drop to 24 EUR/IP. The /19-/18 ranges remained steady at 32 EUR per IPv4 address, respectively. The /24-/22 range in APNIC saw an upward trend, rising from 25 to 26 EUR/IP.
ARIN: ARIN remained stable, with the /21-/20 range stayed constant at 30 EUR. However, a minor change in the /22-/24 range, where prices dropped from 28 to 27 EUR/IP, suggests market stabilization in this region
May saw price increases in RIPE’s smaller subnets, while APNIC and ARIN showed signs of market stabilization after April’s price drop.
